Day Eighteen

The Good, The Bad & The Ugly

Hey all, I have heard some really awesome reports from a lot of you.  A few of you have also had some pretty insightful questions and concerns.  Could you do us (your fellow NorCal CrossFitters) a favor?  Can you take a few moments and email a few sentences to dana@cfnorcal.com and tell me a either:
  • a) a few awesome (GOOD) things you have experienced since starting the challenge
  • b) a few not so awesome (BAD) things you have experienced since starting the challenge
  • c) your best or UGLIEST food concoction to date (random I know, but this could be fun)
We will share these in a future post that should be informative, motivating and probably even a little funny.  Stand by (oh and don't forget to post your points).

  3. 1 point only today (fish oil). I traveld this week and today flew back from Boston to SFO. It was absolutely impossible to find allowed food on the road. Left the hotel before 6am to arrive to the airport on time, so no scrambled eggs or fruit that I could grab. At airport, all that existed in the terminal was a little stall with pastries, sandwiches and yogurt. On the plane for the next 7hrs with not a single option I can choose. Opted for least "worst" of all choices: hummus, canned tuna and gluten-free crackers. Doing Whole30 when you are traveling for business and at the mercy of what you can find on the road is extremely daunting. While I brought some apples and nuts for emergencies, I can't stack food in my suitcase for 4-5 days.
